Ajit Agarkar is an Indian cricket player and commentator born on December 04, 1977. He has played in more than 200 international games for India in all three formats. Ajit Agarkar was known for being able to swing the ball both ways, with both new and old balls. He was seen as India’s answer to a fast-bowling all-rounder since he was also a good batsman. Even though Agarkar had a lot of talent, he could only make significant contributions occasionally. He was always on and off throughout his career. Agarkar was part of India’s successful World T20 team in 2007. Since 2008, he has played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. After three years there, he moved to Delhi Daredevils for another three years. He is the third most wicket-taker for India in ODIs, the fastest to 50 ODI wickets, the fastest to 200 wickets and 1000 runs in terms of matches and scored the fastest fifty by an Indian in just 21 balls. Agarkar declared his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2013. Agarkar established a new profession as a cricket analyst after his retirement.
