Aleister Black made a huge surprise comeback to WWE during last Friday’s episode of SmackDown. His return not only stunned fans but also became a big hit on social media.
Black Leaves AEW, Returns to WWE in Style
After spending a few years in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Black finally made his way back to WWE. In AEW, he performed under the name Malakai Black and led the group The House of Black, with members like Buddy Matthews, Brody King, and Julia Hart.
Now back in WWE, Black made an instant impact. He appeared out of nowhere and knocked down The Miz with his famous move, the Black Mass. Fans loved the moment, and WWE announced that Black and The Miz will face each other in a singles match next week on SmackDown.
Social Media Loves Aleister Black’s Return
Aleister Black’s comeback moment has crossed over one million views on YouTube in just a few days. This shows how excited fans are to see him back in WWE. It also proves that he still has a strong fan following.
Aleister Black’s Personal Life and More Good News
In real life, Aleister Black is married to Zelina Vega, a WWE Superstar. Interestingly, Vega had her own big moment on the same night. She defeated Chelsea Green to become the Women’s United States Champion, her first-ever singles title in WWE.
This was a night full of celebration for both Black and Vega, making it even more special for their fans.
Some Mixed Reactions About Black’s Return
Not everyone was impressed, though. Dutch Mantell, a veteran manager and wrestling legend, gave his honest opinion. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown, he said Black didn’t stand out much to him.
Mantell said,
“Aleister Black, I’ve seen him a couple of times, but nothing clicked for me. He’s just a guy in there that’s got a beard, he wears a lot of dark stuff, and he looks weird, but weird in what way? I have seen weird people you kind of like, but you don’t know about this guy.”
Even with these mixed reactions, fans are clearly excited to see what WWE has planned next for Aleister Black.
