All India Pickleball Association to Host 7th National Tournament
Get ready as India’s Pickleball elite gear up for the 7th National Tournament featuring top players and diverse categories from December 1-3, 2023.

The All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), in collaboration with the Pickleball Association of Gujarat (PAG), is gearing up for the 7th National Pickleball Tournament scheduled from December 1-3, 2023.
This prestigious three-day event will witness more than 250 athletes hailing from 20 states across India vying for top honors. Participants can engage across six diverse categories, including Under-19 boys and girls, 35-plus men and women, 50-plus men, and 60-plus men.
AIPA President Arvind Prabhoo expressed enthusiasm over the overwhelming response from various states and players eager to partake in the Nationals. “The sport’s popularity is on the rise, and our aim is to ensure its reach to every corner of India,” stated Prabhoo.

Anticipated participants include notable players such as Asian Gold medalist Tejas Mahajan, Vanshik Kapadia, Mix Double Champions Snehal Patil and Kuldeep Mahajan, India Doubles Champions Mayur Patil, Vrushali Thakare, Isha Lakhani, Himansh Mehta, and Under-19 champions Aditya, Arjun, Rohit Patil, and Anush Popli. Moreover, Bihar Champion Avinash Kumar and Singles Champion Sonu Kumar Vishwakarma from Dhanbad, Jharkhand, will showcase their skills during the tournament.
Saurabh Trivedi, President of the Pickleball Association of Gujarat (PAG), highlighted the rapid growth of Pickleball in Gujarat. “We aim to demonstrate the state’s capacity to host a National-level tournament. Gujarat boasts talented players, and our focus is nurturing emerging talent while providing them the necessary exposure,” affirmed Trivedi.
