In 2023, Real Madrid won the race to sign Guler, beating Barcelona to his €20 million transfer. However, his start at the Spanish club hasn’t been smooth. He was sidelined for the first six months due to injury, which delayed his debut.

When Arda Guler returned, he found it difficult to secure a spot in a team filled with star players. By the end of the season, he had managed to score six goals in 12 games, but his role remained limited. Despite the retirement of veteran midfielder Toni Kroos, Guler’s situation hasn’t improved this season.

While Juventus briefly made headlines by announcing they had signed Guler, it was later revealed that their account had been hacked, adding a strange twist to the story.
