Eight of the world’s best singles players are battling out for the final title of the year, the ATP Finals 2024. Each of the players have qualified for the season-ending finale after almost a year of heated contest on the court and now each one of them are vying for the showpiece glory.

Jannik Sinner

JATP Finals 2024: Players To Watch Out For

2024 turned out to be an incredible season for Jannik Sinner who won Australian Open, US Open and three ATP Masters 1000 titles in the year. 

The 22-year-old claimed the top spot in the ATP rankings, making him the first Italian player in history to achieve the number one ranking.

Sinner, who ended as a runner-up in the 2023 edition of the ATP Finals after going down to champion Novak Djokovic, will be playing for redemption this year. He also became the favorite at the tournament after the Serbian pulled out of the Turin event due to injury. 

The Italian entered the tournament with 65 match wins to his name this season and only six losses across all tournaments 

Carlos Alcaraz

Fallen Stars At US Open 2024

Carlos Alcaraz became only the sixth man to win both Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year during the Open era. The Spaniad also claimed a silver medal at 2024 Olympic Games Paris in the singles event.  

After making early exits at the US Open, Shanghai Masters and Paris Masters, the 21-year-old would like to end the season on a high note by winning his maiden ATP Finals title. 

Alcaraz headed for Turin with 52 wins in this season. He has 19-2 in Grand Slams, 16-5 in Masters and 4-1 in finals.

Daniil Medvedev 

ATP Finals 2024: Players To Watch Out For

Daniil Medvedev would hope to replicate his 2020 form to win the ATP Finals 2024. Four years after winning his first ATP Finals title, the Russian would bank on his experience to win the big tournament.  

Medvedev’s best performance in 2024 came at the Australian Open where he finished as the runner-up after losing to Sinner. 

Before the start of the 2024 ATP Finals, Medvedev won 45 out of 64 matches this season.
