Sophie Molineux, the AUS-W captain, and Nigar Sultana, the BAN-W captain, gathered for the toss of the Australia Women vs Bangladesh Women match. Australia-W won the toss and elected to field first, as the pitch looked good to chase later, and dew can be an important factor to keep in consideration, as the weather is unpredictable.

So, it is safe to bat in the second innings, and Sophie Molineux made a few changes in the squad. Phoebe Litchfield got injured and is expected to miss the next few games, and Ash Gardner, due to an ankle injury, will also miss the game against Bangladesh W.

On the other side, Nigar Sultana had a completely different decision when she was asked. She said they were looking to bat first on this pitch, as they wanted to check their batting potential at their best and put some runs on the board first and defend later.
