Australian Open 2025: Meet The Confirmed Seeds In Men’s, Women’s Singles

The Australian Open revealed the seedings for both the men and women’s singles tournaments for the first Grand Slam of the year.
The major event is scheduled to be held on 12–26 January 2025. It will be the 113th edition of the Australian Open. The draw ceremony for Australian Open 2025 will take place at Melbourne Park on Thursday, 9 January at 2:30 p.m. local time.
Men’s seedings
World No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings Jannik Sinner is set to defend his title at the Australian Open 2025, where the Italian is the top seed.
Alexander Zverev is seeded second in Melbourne while Carlos Alcaraz, who is aiming to become the youngest player to complete the career Slam, is seeded third.
American star Taylor Fritz rounds out the top 4 after a strong close to the 2024 season. Three-time finalist Daniil Medvedev, seeded fifth, is seeking to go one step further to capture his second major crown.
Record 10-time champion Novak Djokovic is seeded seventh.

On the women’s side, the seedings are led by the 2024 defending champion and reigning world number one Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus.
She is followed by Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, while Jasmine Paolini of Italy is the fourth seed after a breakout campaign last year.
Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva, who many believe could be the next big thing, enters the tournament seeded 14th. Two-time Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka is seeded 21st.
