Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the ICC Men’s Player Of The Month For April on Monday. Babar Azam beat his Pakistan team fellow member, Fakhar Zaman and Nepal’s Kushal Bhurtel to take the prestigious award for the month of April 2021.
On Twitter, ICC announced this by quoting, “Three ODIs, 228 runs at 76.00, Seven T20Is, 305 runs at 43.57, Became the No.1 ODI batsman. Well done, Babar Azam for winning the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for April.”

Babar Azam made 228 runs in the ODI series for Pakistan against South Africa that included which had a hundred and a half-century. In the T20I series, he made 210 runs in four games which lead to Babar Azam being named as the player of the series award in the T20I.
The 26-year-old Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam, dethroned Indian Skipper Virat Kohli from the 1st position of the ICC ODI batsman rankings on April 14.
