The fans were happy to see their favourite players on the list. Some fans are disappointed as well. But there are lot of fans who are in huge shock after seeing Lionel Messi not in the list.
Argentine forward Lionel Messi has not been included in the Ballon d’Or nominees list for the first time since the year 2005. In the last 16 years, he (Lionel Messi) was continuously in this 30-men nominee list (Ballon d’or). But this time FC Barcelona legend couldn’t make it to this list. Portuguese forwars Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Mohamed Salah, etc have all been registered for this Ballon d’Or 30-men nominee list on Friday night.
Lionel Messi changed his club last season due to La Liga rules and 2021/22 was his one of the worst season as he couldn’t get much goals in the new league (Ligue 1). Messi is still in Paris Saint-Germain and has started the season well as he scored two goals in their opening game of the season.
