- Comilla Victorians: Comilla Victorians started operating in October 2015. In 2015–16, the team won their first Bangladesh Premier League title. Additionally, this team was declared the winner in 2019 and 2022.
- Dhaka Team: In 2012, 2013 and 2016, the Dhaka team is believed to have been successful in becoming the champion. They reportedly had a bad start to their campaign as they were defeated by the seasoned Khulna Royal Bengals, led by all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Nevertheless, the club was still able to enjoy three victories in a row despite the absence of players like Shahid Afridi and Saeed Ajmal. In their third triumph over Barisal Burners, they scored the highest total of the competition, 208 runs for five wickets.
- Rajshahi Royals: In 2019–20, this group was successful in capturing the BPL title. In 2012, the team made it to the semi-finals, and in 2016, they were officially crowned runners-up.
- Rangpur Rangers: In 2017, Rajshahi Royals won the Bangladesh Premier League championship. Moreover, this group was able to win by a margin of six wickets and knock off Chittagong Kings for the first time.
Other teams, such as Chattogram Challengers, were able to finish as runner-up in 2013, and Khulna Tigers also managed to end the competition by securing the runner-up position in 2019–20. Teams like Khulna Tigers and Sylhet Strikers have successfully made seven appearances. And Fortune Barishal was able to make five appearances.
