UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals Bayern Munich Vs Inter Milan 1st Leg
Two heavyweights of European football will clash on the grandest stage of club football. The 1st leg of the quarter final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan will be played in the iconic stadium of Allianz Arena.
Run to the Quarter Finals
Bayern and Inter both have had a contrasting run to the quarter finals of the competition as Bayern managed to finish in 12th whereas Inter Milan finished comfortably at 4th position. Bayern finishing 12th meant that they had to compete for the play-off positions but Inter were automatically qualified because they finished 8th and above.
Bayern were closely competed in the play-off match by Celtic as they narrowly won by an aggregate score of 3-2 thanks to a late winner by Alphonso Davies.

The Round of 16 was a rather easy affair for Bayern who routed their Bundesliga rivals, Bayer Leverkusen with a scoreline of 5-0 across the two legs.
Inter Milan faced Feyenoord in the round of 16 and advanced with a scoreline of 4-1.
Bayern Munich are currently the highest ranked team in the Bundesliga and Inter Milan are also the table toppers in the Italian league as of now.
Team News and Injury Updates
Bayern is dealing with a series of injuries, with Hiroki Ito, Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, and winger Kingsley Coman all ruled out. Jamal Musiala is also unavailable due to a thigh problem picked up in their recent Bundesliga outing. Manager Vincent Kompany remains positive, stressing belief in the players at hand. Despite the setbacks, Michael Olise—likely to fill in for Musiala—and striker Harry Kane remain key figures.

Captain Lautaro Martinez, who has six Champions League goals this season, along with Marcus Thuram, who’s impressed both in Serie A and Europe, are central to Inter’s attack.
