Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the video of Indian opener Rohit Sharma in which he was seen praising young Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant is consistently performing up to the mark from the last series against Australia.
Indian opener Rohit Sharma who played an inning of 150+ against England in the second match praised Rishabh Pant for his mindset towards the game and asked others to stop putting pressure on the youngster. He believes that if Pant will play without being compared by anyone or by putting under pressure, he will perform even better.
“I said in the past that leave Rishabh Pant alone and he will give you those performances. He will only grow from strength to strength from here. So far he has done exceptionally well in the last few months and I don’t see anything stopping him.” Sharma said.
