The BCCI is going to conduct door to door COVID-19 test for players and their family members who will be going to the UK. Indian team is likely to take off for the UK around 2nd June for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand and 2 matches test series against England.

According to Cricbuzz, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sought coordinates and home addresses of all the England-bound contingent, family members included, so that it can organize RT-PCR tests at the doorsteps of each.

The test is expected to be done in the next couple of days as BCCI is planning to put players in Isolation from around18-19 May. Sources say that BCCI has scheduled two weeks of strict isolation for players.

It is to be noted that India has to play the World Test Championship final against New Zealand which is scheduled from 18 June to 22 June. India has also to play a 2 match test series against the host England in the first week of August.
