The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 Grand Finals ended in the lively city of Kolkata, and what a show it was! Team Versatile made a stunning comeback after a slow start to lift the trophy and become the champions.
Team Versatile’s Big Comeback
On the first day, Team Versatile only scored 37 points, but they did not give up. They came back strong on the next two days, picking up 132 points, and finally topped the table with a total of 169 points after 18 matches.
This win was extra special because Saumraj, their IGL (in-game leader), became the first player to win two BGIS titles. A huge moment for Indian esports!

Godlike Esports gave a tough fight and finished as runners-up with 152 points. Orangutan also showed great spirit and grabbed the third spot with 143 points, thanks to a strong performance on the final day.
The star of the tournament was Jonathan from Godlike Esports. He won both the MVP and the Finals MVP awards for his outstanding gameplay.
