Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is back with another big update, and it will be exciting for every fan of the game. After many successful updates in 2024, Krafton is ready to bring something fresh and thrilling in 2025. The next update, BGMI 3.8, is expected to go live on May 11, 2025, and it’s full of action, surprises, and fun.

When Is BGMI 3.8 Coming?
As per recent reports, the BGMI 3.8 update will be released on May 11, 2025, for Indian players. This update will follow the global version of PUBG Mobile and introduce a Steampunk Frontier theme. It will feature steam-powered trains, sky rides, titans, and much more.
New Train System on Erangel Map
The steam train system is one of the biggest highlights of the 3.8 update. These trains will move around the map during a match. They will follow a fixed route starting and ending at Sosnovka Military Base and passing through places like Quarry, Shooting Range, Gatka, and Hospital.
- Players can ride the train during the match.
- You can find supplies in the driver’s cabin.
- You’ll also meet a train attendant who gives you energy drinks.
This will bring a totally new way to loot and move around on the map.
Attack on Titan Mode Is Coming
A new Attack on Titan mode is also going to be part of the 3.8 update. Players will be able to become titans in the game and rampage across the battlefield. This will be a limited-time game mode, and it’s one of the most exciting additions for anime lovers.
Fun Sky Activities
Apart from trains, players will get to enjoy some sky adventures too:
- Sky rails will let you travel across places like the Cargo Dock.
- You can ride a rollercoaster.
- There will even be hot air balloons in the game.
These new additions will give a fresh vibe to regular matches.
New Additions to Classic Mode
The 3.8 update will also bring changes to the classic game mode. Some of the new features include
- A new Pillar UAZ vehicle in the Rondo map. But remember, not everyone in the car can shoot.
- Now, players can shoot while driving motorcycles and bicycles.
- A new sticky bomb weapon will be added.
- Players can also get spare tires to fix or upgrade vehicles.
All these changes will make gameplay more exciting and challenging.
