The MVP award will likely go to the player who performs the most consistently across the whole tournament. The Best IGL award honors the player who leads their team the best, since in-game leaders (IGLs) play a huge role in calling strategy during matches. The MVP of the Finals is for whoever shines the brightest during the final stage of the event. And the Best Clutch award goes to the player who comes up with the most impressive plays under pressure, often turning a losing situation into a win.
Why This Tournament Matters
BMPS 2026 isn’t just about the money, though ₹1 Crore for the winners is a massive deal on its own. It’s also about pride, reputation, and a chance for Indian esports teams to prove themselves on a big stage. With so much prize money distributed across so many positions, almost every team taking part has a real reason to give their best.
The winning team gets the spot of the Esports World Cup 2026, Paris and this time India gets two slots for the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026. One team is the winner of BMPS 2026 and the second team should be selected by the Krafton Ranking and right now Team Soul is the number one team in the Krafton Ranking Team OG is second and Team Divine is third. So it makes sense that if Team Soul does not win this tournament, they get the slot for the Esports World Cup 2026, but if they win this event, then Team OG gets the slot because they are ranked second.
The event will bring together India’s top BGMI teams, all competing for glory in Jaipur. Fans can expect intense matches, smart strategies, and plenty of clutch moments as teams fight for every rank on the leaderboard.
