The BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2025 is heating up as the Upper Bracket enters Day 2 on September 23. A total of 24 invited teams are battling for survival, split into three groups. Each team will play 16 matches across four days, with the top 12 squads moving forward to the Semifinals. The remaining 12 teams will have to fight again in the Quarterfinals.
Day 1 saw Group B completing six matches, while Groups A and C played three games each. The competition is already intense, with some early surprises on the leaderboard.
Recap of the Lower Bracket
Before the Upper Bracket began, the Lower Bracket was held from September 18 to 21. From there, the top 12 teams managed to advance to the Quarterfinals, while the bottom 12 were knocked out of the event.

BMSD 2025 Day 2 Match Order
On Day 2, Group A will play six matches, while Groups B and C will play three each. The live broadcast will begin at 2:45 PM IST on Krafton India Esports’ official YouTube channel.

BMSD 2025 Day 1 Highlights and Standings
The opening day was dominated by Los Hermanos Esports, who grabbed two Chicken Dinners and a total of 57 points from six matches. Orangutan followed closely with 53 points, showing consistency across their games.
Other strong performers included:

- Likitha Esports: 39 points
- Bot Army: 36 points
- True Rippers: 35 points (from only three games)
Team Soul secured 26 points, while Gods Reign, GodLike Esports, and FS Esports managed 20 points each.
At the lower end, Genesis Esports and 4TR Official earned 17 points each, while 8Bit struggled with just 13 points. K9 Esports, the BGMS 2025 champions, had a rough start with only 7 points, and Medal Esports sit at the bottom with just 4 points.
