BWF World Rankings: Shi Yuqi, An Seyoung Firm At No.1; Check Top 20 List

BWF World Rankings: The BWF Hong Kong Open saw some exciting clashes as with players bidding to collect as much point at the Super 500 event. Men’s and women’s singles title winners, China’s Shi Yuqi and South Korea’s An Seyoung, retained their top spot.

In the men’s singles, Yuqi is ahead with 109,117 points followed by Denmark’s Anders Antonsen who has a haul of 95,313. Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand, after enjoying few weeks on the top, continues his position in the third. Li Shifeng of People’s Republic of China and Chou Tien-chen of Chinese Taipei rounds off top four and top five. 

In women’s singles, An Seyoung of Republic of Korea continues her run as the World No. 1. Having clinched eight titles this season, the Korean is 111,270 placed with 111,270. She is followed by Wang Zhiyi of China with 106,862 points. Han Yue of China is placed third with 92,850 points. Yamaguchi Akane of Japan and Chen Yufei of China complete top four and five, respectively.
