Liverpool leads the points table having beaten Real Madrid 2-0 last time out.
The Reds, a formidable side this year, have won all five of their European games under Arne Slot and will lock horns with Girona on Tuesday night.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa will be welcomed by German side RB Leipzig and defending champions Real Madrid travel to Atalanta for a rematch of the UEFA Super Cup final.
Celtic, meanwhile, will be heading to Dinamo Zagreb.

The action will continue on Wednesday. Arsenal will host Monaco while Juventus welcome Manchester City in another mouth-watering fixture. Borussia Dortmund will clash with Barcelona which is going to be another interesting tie.
The Champions League 2024-24 is currently in its league stage. The teams who finish in the top eight in the league will automatically qualify for the round of 16. Those who finish between 9th and 24th will contest in a two-legged knockout play-off to earn the opportunity to advance, while those who finish lower will be eliminated from European continental competition entirely.
