It was a challenging total, so Chandigarh needed to bat well. Chandigarh suffered a wicket loss early on. Although Chandigarh’s skipper was out after two innings, Neha’s performance ultimately decided the game. While scoring 56 off 23 balls, she remained unbeaten.

She played every inning of the match with ease at bat. She tracked the total down independently and helped Chandigarh win its first title.

Former cricketer Mamatha Maben congratulated the victors and all of the other competitors in the competition and praised the organisers for giving deaf cricket a platform. “These tournaments are proof that women’s cricket in India is supporting inclusion & diversity & tremendously showcasing the incredible talent pool available across our country,” she stated, “which can mainstream in the future.”

Mumbai had a perfect league record going into the championship round. Unbeaten Delhi was defeated by Chandigarh in the semifinal game. Mumbai won the toss and decided to bat first. The early ejection of Needa Shaikh was a pivotal turning point in the game. Needa was in top form and had won Player of the Match four times in a row. Mumbai achieved a decent total of 74 points.

Mumbai’s aspirations of winning the championship for the third consecutive year were shattered by Neha’s amazing performance. Several batters have produced the best innings in this competition, but Neha’s performance under pressure stands out. She tracked the total down independently and helped Chandigarh win its first title.
