The Czech MotoGP 2025 at the Brno Circuit was another strong reminder of Marc Marquez’s incredible form this season. The Spanish rider picked up his fifth consecutive Grand Prix win at Brno, cementing his place at the top of the standings and making history as the first Ducati rider to claim five race wins in a row. This result also gave him an 8th win of the year out of twelve races so far, further extending his points lead as the championship heads into the summer break.
How the Czech MotoGP 2025 Unfolded
Czech MotoGP 2025 started with a lot of anticipation, especially after an exciting sprint on Saturday. Francesco Bagnaia, Marquez’s Ducati teammate, grabbed the early lead from pole, but it didn’t take long for things to get interesting. By Turn 3, Marquez and Bagnaia were already locked in a close battle, with Marco Bezzecchi also making quick progress for Aprilia.
Bezzecchi eventually managed to get past Marquez and then overtook Bagnaia to lead the race, showing impressive speed on his Aprilia. For several laps, the Italian held onto his position at the front, but Marquez was patient, waited for his opportunity, and pulled off the decisive move at Turn 3 on lap 8. From there, he gradually built a lead, making sure he stayed clear of Bezzecchi’s challenge.
Behind them, rookie Pedro Acosta was putting together one of his best performances, holding off a late push from Bagnaia to secure third for KTM, his first Sunday Grand Prix podium with the team.
