Dorival Jr sacked as the Brazilian Coach

Dorival Jr has been sacked as the Brazilian Coach of the National Team and it has not been a surprise that the Brazilian Association is not happy by the recent run of games in the World Cup qualifiers where they were defeated by Argentina 4-1.

Brazil has not been performing well for the past few years due to sub-par coaching standards

The quality of the side cannot be questioned as they have the most in-form players at their disposal but somehow they have not been able to perform well on the pitch.

Only winning 6 matches out of the 14 played, the brazilian lacked the command over games with Brazil not playing up to their potential.

The Brazilian association is once again looking for the perfect candidate for the job

1) Carlo Ancelotti is the first name that pops up because his arrival rumours have been running since Dorival’s hiring and has been on the target list for a long time. Ancelotti has refused to comment on the topic and has said that nothing concrete has been talked about but he will be the best suited to the job if he decides to let go of the Madrid job. His vast experience and his current relationship with Vinicius and Rodrygo would only help him to plan his tactics for the team.

2) Zinedine Zidane- The Frenchman has been linked with many jobs in recent years but has stayed under the radar for quite some time now. Zidane has only Real Madrid across 2 stints which have been spectacular but does not have a fat CV to boast about, his name is enough for that.

3) Juergen Klopp- The mis-match that might just do it. The German coach has been out of job since this season when he left the Liverpool job and might just want to pick up this job to try to coach a national team as well. Highly unlikely but could work wonders for the Selecao. His aggressive attacking game could be the ultimate fresh breath of air in the Brazilian National camp.
