England fast bowler Jofra Archer bowled for the first time on his return from injury yesterday.
Archer is fit for the start of England’s international summer and did not show any discomfort bowling for Sussex’s second XI.
Archer also scored 35 from 46 balls while Batting in the first innings, Now he will be eyeing Sussex’s county championship match against Kent on May 13 as the next step in his rehabilitation, ahead of England’s two-Test series against New Zealand, which starts on June 2 at Lord’s.
Earlier Jofra was ruled out from the IPL because he injured his hand in January, and also didn’t take a part in the India England Test series where his team was seen struggling. But finally, as he’s back we cannot wait to see him bowl against New Zealand, it’ll be an absolute pleasure watching him bowl and taking wickets after a long time.
