The most prominent event in the esports calendar, the Esports Awards presented by Lexus, is pleased to announce the full list of winners from this year’s stunning presentation, which took place at Resorts World in Las Vegas. Some of the most well-known companies, groups, and influencers from the esports sector and beyond were present as more than 40 prizes in the categories of entertainment, industry, creativity, professional, on-air talent, and collegiate were given out.

Riot Games, which won prizes for Esports Publisher of the Year, Esports Broadcast/Production Team of the Year, and Esports Game of the Year for VALORANT, was one of the largest winners. Loud received both the Esports Creative Team of the Year and Esports Team of the Year accolades.

The night featured a number of jaw-dropping moments, including Lexus showcasing its LC 500 and NX 350 (100 Thieves NX) cars, the unveiling of exclusive League of Legends Wild Rift themed Coca-Cola cans, and charity partner Leukemia and Lymphoma Society surpassing its $50K USD fundraising goal. The event was hosted by legendary hosts Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoortere and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez The cinematic-rock group City of Sound and the rapper bbno$ both had special musical appearances.

The announcement of the beginning of the Mobile Awards ceremony was made by Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge on stage during the ceremony. The Mobile Awards, a new project to document, recognise, and reward achievement in the mobile sector, was founded by the Esports Awards and Matt Rutledge. Starting in 2023, The Mobile Awards will conduct an annual event dubbed The Mobies to honour and recognise exceptional performance and innovation.

In 2022, Christine Fan won Esports Collegiate Ambassador of the Year. Christine is a former employee of Triton Gaming and has consistently been one of our strongest supporters. She was instrumental in the creation of UCSD Esports, the growth of the Triton Esports Center (TEC), and the selection of MSi as one of our first programme partners.

With a bigger venue, new awards, and a wider range of events, we set high ambitions this year to make the 2022 Esports Awards a truly milestone event. I can confidently state that we have realised our dreams as the ceremony comes to a close. It’s wonderful to see so many people gathered to commemorate such a remarkable year.
