Esports Awards 2022: Esports Creative Team of the Year

By winning the esports team of the year award at the 2022 Esports Awards, LOUD made gaming history once again. This is their journey to the top. LOUD won Esports Team of the Year at the 2022 Esports Awards! The group claimed victory against other contenders like T1, OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.

A Brazilian organization of esports called LOUD. LOUD was founded in February 2019 by mobile gaming influencer PlayHard. It began as a Free Fire squad and later expanded into Fortnite. Riot Brazil revealed LOUD as one of the teams chosen to compete in CBLOL beginning with the 2021 season in October 2020.

The squad has one of the biggest fans following in Brazilian esports and is occasionally referred to as the “Brazilian FaZe Clan” because of their strong emphasis on content development. As a result, there is now what is known as the “LOUD Effect”: as soon as a player or personality joins the team, their social media following increases dramatically and quickly. OpTic Gaming was defeated by LOUD in the Valorant world championship match by a score of 3-1. An esports professional and entertainment company with its main office in Frisco, Texas, is called OpTic Gaming. The company presently runs OpTic Texas, a Call of Duty squad in the Call of Duty League.

LOUD Wins Esports Team of the Year

This year, LOUD not only won the trophy at the Esports Awards ceremony, but it also boasted of another significant victory. The team’s players defeated OpTic Gaming in the championship match to claim victory on the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). LOUD made esports history on a global scale with a 3-1 victory!

VCT 2022 took place in Istanbul, Turkey, and LOUD’s battle in the final match involved a couple of maps that went into overtime. After defeating OpTic Gaming, LOUD earned a massive $300,000. The VCT 2022 victory also meant that LOUD became the first Brazilian team to win a tournament of this caliber. Earlier this year, LOUD also earned the silver at the Masters Reykjavik 2022 tournament. OpTic Gaming prevailed at master’s Reykjavik 2022, but LOUD endured and won the VCT 2022 Grand Finals when the two teams’ rematches.

The LOUD versus OpTic Gaming matchup during the VCT 2022 Grand Finals added to the list of outstanding accomplishments by breaking a viewership record! The match drew over 1.5 million viewers across all platforms, with Twitch getting a significant portion of viewers.

The reigning champions, Acend, were eliminated from the competition after falling to VCT 2022 in the G2 Esports: Last-Chance EMEA Qualifier. Ten teams qualified for the international championship event of the circuit based on points they had accrued throughout the season, and the remaining six teams did so through the Last Chance Qualifiers.
