Esports Awards 2022: PC Rookie of the Year

The Esports Awards 2022 were presented on December 13 at Resorts World in Las Vegas to recognize the best gamers, esports professionals, and celebrities for their accomplishments in a variety of categories this past year. Since the Rio Major 2022 will be taken into consideration for the award ceremony the following year, CS: GO as a title may not have been as dominant this year. We examine the Esports Awards winners in every category, from Esports Awards Content Creator of the Year to Esports Awards Game of the Year.

Esports PC Rookie of the Year

The 2022 nominee winners have been revealed by the annual Esports Awards’ organizers. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev (NAVI), Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov (G2), and Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy are three CS: GO players who won (NAVI). Kostyliev won the title of Esports PC Player of the Year for the second year in a row, Osipov won the title of Esports PC Rookie of the Year, and Gorodenskiy was recognized as the Esports Coach of the Year in recognition of NAVI’s achievements. Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken of FaZe was one of the recipients of an Esports Awards 2022 honour. He won the Esports Play of the Year title because of the Canadian’s performance during the match versus NAVI at IEM Cologne 2022.
