The Ghana National Football team has been drawn in ‘Group H’, along with Portugal, Korea Republic and Uruguay. And the team will be facing Portugal in their opening match in Group H on 24 November 2022 for the FIFA World Cup.

The Ghana National Football team is often called the “Black Stars”, because of the Black Star of Africa in their flag. The team, however, is said to be governed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA). The GFA is the oldest football association in Africa, which was founded in 1920.
