GodLike Esports from India made history by performing great in the Asia-Online Qualifiers of the FIFAe Club Series and earning a spot in the Asia Playoffs. Charanjot Singh and Saransh Jain, members of Team India’s national team, competed for GodLike in 2V2 and finished fourth, earning a spot in the upcoming Asia Playoff. Top two teams from the Asia Playoffs will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Qualifiers details
The FIFAe Club Series Asia Online Qualifiers ran from February 21 to March 31, 2023. The format used for the online qualifying rounds was 2V2 and 3 Division Double Elimination format. The Asia Playoffs were up for grabs for the top four teams. Team Flash triumphed in the online qualifiers, while JDT GBX Esports came in second. India’s GodLike Esports, who finished in fourth place, earned a ticket in the Asia Playoffs. While MQN Gaming finished third. Players from the Indian National Team, Charanjot Singh and Saransh Jain, competed for GodLike. Out of the 24 teams that participated in the tournament only four qualified for the Asia Playoffs
FIFAe Club Series Asia Playoffs
The FIFAe Club Series Asia Playoffs, meanwhile, start on May 13 and end the following day. The usual 2v2 format will be used for the Asia Playoffs. A double-elimination tournament will be used. The top two teams from the playoffs will, as was previously said, earn a spot in the club world cup, which will start in September 2023.

The top four competitors
The top four teams that will be participating in the Asia Playoffs are:
- Team Flash (Singapore and Vietnam) qualified for the Playoffs as they were the Week 1 champions of the qualifiers.
- JDT GBX Esports (Malaysia) qualified for the Playoffs as they were the Week 2 champions of the qualifiers.
- MQN Gaming (Malaysia) qualified for the Playoffs as they were the Week 3 champions of the qualifiers.
- GodLike Esports (India) were the only team that qualified for the Playoffs based on points accumulation during the qualifiers. The Indian team scored 560 points and finished 40 points above the fifth placed team, JDT Gamesbond Esports.
