French Open 2025 brings huge prize money and ranking pressure for every round
The French Open 2025 has begun on May 25 at the Roland Garros venue in Paris. Top players will once again be seen competing in this year’s second Grand Slam. There will be performances by top tennis legends such as Aryna Sabalenka, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcaraz.
This time, everyone’s focus will be on player with 24 Grand Slam titles Novak Djokovic. This could be his final French Open, and he’ll go all in to try and win his 25th major title.
This year, the prize money is massive, and ranking points will be given in every round. So the pressure and reward for each match will be higher than ever.
French Open 2025 Prize Money: Singles
The total prize pool for French Open 2025 is $61.2 million (₹511 crore), which is around 5.37% more than 2024. The singles winners will get 6.25% more than last year, and the runner-up will also take home a big amount.

In men’s and women’s doubles, the rewards for each round are fixed. Winners will receive €590,000 (around ₹6.7 crore).

How many ranking points will players get?
