“He doesn’t boast tattoos or flashy cars – but he’s an incredible player for us. He thrives on the Old Trafford pitch, has previously excelled as a false 9, and possesses a remarkable ability in distributing passes,” Guardiola remarked.

“His intelligence is remarkable; everyone adores him. It was another outstanding performance. He ranks among the best players I’ve ever witnessed. I’ve coached many, and he stands among the finest,” Guardiola added.

Haaland’s brace and an assist contributed significantly to Manchester City securing a win over Manchester United in the derby, narrowing the gap with league leaders Tottenham Hotspur to two points.

Guardiola expressed delight in the team’s performance against the Reds, highlighting Haaland’s second goal as a pivotal moment in the match.

“The second goal was a game-changer. We anticipated a more aggressive opponent in the second half. We executed two excellent build-ups with Ruben and Ederson. Subsequently, Bernardo and Jack made significant contributions, pivotal to the game,” Guardiola explained.

While commending the team’s improved second-half performance, Guardiola emphasized the significance of the victory at Old Trafford, terming it “always special.”

With 24 points, Manchester City stands third on the points table, level with Arsenal in the Premier League standings.
