India’s sensational all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been making a lot of news off-lately all thanks to his stunning performances in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024-25. The talented all-rounder once again stole all the limelight as he played yet another outstanding innings with the bat during Baroda’s match against Tripura at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
Hardik Pandya, who has been in a red-hot form, played another stellar knock and helped his side win the game. He showed his skills with the bat as he smashed bowlers hard to all the corners of the ground and scoring freely throughout the game.
Parvez Sultan faced Hardik Pandya’s explosive batting
In the match against Tripura, Parvez Sultan, who is a left-arm spinner, was smashed all around the ground by Hardik. During the 10th over of the second innings, Pandya hit Sultan for 4 sixes and a boundary, taking his team closer to the win.
Pandya began the over with a huge six over covers. After a dot ball, he smashed another big six over long-off on the third ball. He then completed his three sixes by hitting a full toss on the fourth ball over the leg side, putting the bowler under a lot of pressure.
Pandya tried to hit the 5th ball for another six, but he got an outside edge, and unfortunately for the bowler, the ball raced to the boundary for four runs. However, the all-rounder made sure to finish the over on a high note, hitting another six over long-off, taking his total to 28 runs in that over.

Hardik Pandya ended his brilliant knock of 47 runs off 23 balls. The all-rounder batted with a strike rate of over 204 and also smashed 3 fours and 5 sixes in an over.
It was an easy win for the Baroda cricket team as they restricted Tripura to just 109 runs and continued their domination with a strong batting performance. The Baroda-side managed to chase down the target in just 11.2 overs with 7 wickets. This was Baroda’s fourth straight win in the ongoing tournament.
Hardik Pandya is in exceptional form
It has to be noted that Hardik Pandya has been in a terrific form in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024-25. He registered the scores of unbeaten 74 off 35 balls against Gujarat, 41* off 21 balls against Uttarakhand, 69 off 30 balls against Tamil Nadu, and 47 off 23 balls in his latest innings against Tripura.
Hardik Pandya’s excellent batting form is a big positive for the Indian cricket team ahead of the much-anticipted 2025 Champions Trophy. He is currently the fourth-highest run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, having scored 231 runs in 4 games at an average of 115.50.
