Tottenham Hotspur has defeated newly promoted team Nottingham Forest to register their third Premier League victory of the season (2022/23). Tottenham Hotspur played well in this game and thus deserved the victory they got in the end. Only two goals were scored in this game and both were by the away team.

Harry Kane scored the brace in this game as his good form in this season continues. Tottenham Hotspur were front foot in the whole game. Antonio Conte’s men had less possession in the game than Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest did have too many chances to equalise or even win it but they didn’t find the net.

In the 5th minute, Harry Kane scored his first of the game when Dejan Kulusevski put the ball into the box for the English striker. Tottenham Hotspur could have scored their second goal in the second half when they were awarded the penalty in the 53rd mintue. However, they did find the second goal when Kane put in the net again from the new signing Richarlison’s assist. With this victory, Tottenham moved to third place in the Premier League points table.
