Pakistani batter Babar Azam has shown support to former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli who is not in a good run for form currently. The world’s No. 1 batter in T20Is (Babar Azam) feels Virat will get out of this situation and he knows how good player Virat Kohli is. Babar praised the former Indian skipper and feels the management should back him.
“As a player myself, I know you can go through such a phase (out of form) and I also know what a player goes through in such a phase. In those times, you need support. He is playing a lot of cricket and he knows how to come out of these situations. It takes time, if you back players, it will be really good,” said Babar Azam on Virat Kohli in a press-conference ahead of first Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka as reported by HT.
The Pakistani skipper Babar Azam tweeted a message for Virat on Thursday during the game between India and England, 2nd ODI. He tweeted when Kohli departed early in the game, scoring just 16 runs in 25 balls. Babar also reveals the reason behind this tweet from him in this press conference.
