Indian spin bowler talked about the difficulties he faced while bowling in the first T20I against Ireland in Dublin. India and Ireland are currently playing a two-match T20Is against each other in Dublin. Indian team won the first game by 7 wickets which was played on Sunday night. The game was reduced to 12 overs because of rain. Ireland made 108 runs in their 12 overs whereas India chased it down in the 10th over itself.
It was an all-round performance from team India. Spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal was named man of the match for his wonderful spell in the game. His stunning form continues as he took 1 wicket in his 3 overs and gave just 11 runs. It was an amazing bowling performance from Yuzvendra Chahal as the pitch was very difficult for the bowlers especially wrist spinners. Still, Chahal managed to restrict Ireland’s batter and didn’t let them hit too many runs during his spell.
“Very difficult (in these cold conditions). I felt like a finger spinner today (smiles). Sometimes it’s hard but you have to adapt to every condition,” said Yuzvendra Chahal in a post-match presentation telecasted on Sony Sports Network.
The second and the last T20I between India and Ireland will be played on 28th June, Tuesday.
