India won against Pakistan by 5 wickets in the first game of the Asia Cup 2022. The game was played on Sunday, 28th August. Rohit Sharma felt the game was pretty interesting and it was the game fans love to see. The game was indeed thriller as it ended in the last over. India won the match two balls to spare.
Indian cricket team’s captain said this type of thrilling games are amazing to watch and it has different feeling, winning games like this.
“Halfway through the chase, we still knew that we can win irrespective of the situation. We had the belief and when you have that belief, these things can happen. It’s about giving clarity to the guys so that they know their roles well. It was a bit challenging but I’ll take wins like this any day over usual victories,” said Rohit Sharma after the victory against Pakistan on Star Sports Network.
Indian team will be facing Hong Kong in their second match of the Asia Cup 2022 which will be played on 31st August, Wednesday.
