ICC Awards 2024: The year 2024 turned out to be a blockbuster one for cricket lovers. As the year 2024 is all set to end on a high note, it is now that time of the year when the International Cricket Council (ICC) recognized the exceptional performances of players—both men and women—at the annual ICC Awards.

It has to be noted that the ICC Awards 2025 are held every year to celebrate the stars of the game. Fans can choose from nine categories given to them and cast their votes to decide the winners.

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council has finally announced the nominees for the upcoming ICC Awards 2024, and it is now on to the fans to vote for their favorite cricketers in both men’s and women’s categories.

Talking about the nominees for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year award, while the ICC has nominated four players from different countries for the prestigious award, no Indian has made it to the list of nominees.

The four players who have been nominated by the ICC are: Chamari Athapaththu, Amelia Kerr, Annabel Sutherland, and Laura Wolvaardt. All of these four players have had a fantastic year and have made their way to the nominations for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year award.

Talking about the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year award, Wanindu Hasaranga has earned a nomination all thanks to his stellar performances this year. The other three nominees are: Azmatullah Omarzai, Kusal Mendis, Sherfane Rutherford.
