Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the schedule for the next ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will take place in England. The tournament will start on June 12, and the final match will be held at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5.

ICC Announces Schedule for Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will feature 12 teams playing in England and Wales. Eight teams have already qualified, and four more will join after next year’s qualifier. Seven venues have been chosen to host the matches.

The tournament starts on June 12, with England playing Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. Group 1 includes Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, and two qualifier teams. Group 2 has England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and two more qualifier teams.

Over 24 days, 33 matches will be played. The top two teams from each group will move to the semi-finals at The Oval on June 30 and July 2. The final will take place at Lord’s on July 5.

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt said she is very excited about the Women’s T20 World Cup. She said she can’t wait to play against the best teams in the world and compete for the championship.

World Cups are always special, but this one already feels different – it has the potential to be truly game-changing,” Nat Sciver-Brunt said.

“It’s going to be a huge moment for our sport and a brilliant opportunity to inspire young people and captivate fans across the country. Playing on home soil, for the biggest prize, against the best players in the world, it’s going to be unmissable. I can’t wait to be a part of it,” she added.
