Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 17-man squad for the two-match T20Is against Ireland. All-rounder Hardik Pandya named as the ‘captain’ of the Indian team for this two-match T20Is. The two games will be played on 26th June and 28th June respectively.

Indian pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has named vice-captain for this two games against Ireland. Indian cricket team are currently playing the 5-match T20I series against South Africa. They have won only a single game in 3 games they played and are currently trailing the series by 1-2 against South Africa.

Rishabh Pant got his first victory as captain of Indian cricket team on Tuesday, 14th June in the 3rd T20I. It was a great win by 48 runs by team India. That was a complete team performance. After Ireland, Indian team will travel to England to play the pending 5th Test match which was postponed due to COVID-19.
