IPL 2021: 5 Player left IPL in mid-way due to increasing covid-19 cases in India.
Due to the present situation of corona cases in India 5 players leave the IPL. Cases of covid-19 are increasing day by day in India. 20 matches of IPL has held in the major 6 cities of India. Considering this present situation, many players are leaving this ongoing season of IPL 2021. Two of them are Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson of RCB. They both have left this season of IPL due to personal reasons. Also, Andrew Tye of R leaves IPL 2021 by stating the personal reason. And Liam Livingstone leaves this season of IPL too.
Ashwin of DC is the other player who declared to leave this season of IPL as his family is suffering from covid-19. On Sunday Ashwin played for DC against SRH. Through social media, Ashwin announced his decision of leaving this season of IPL.
He tweeted” I would be taking a break from this year’s IPL from tomorrow. My family and extended family are putting up a fight against #COVID19 and i want to support them during these tough times. I expect to return to play if things go in the right direction. Thank you @DelhiCapitals”.
