Mumbai Indians bowling unit has got some serious talent, out of which Bumrah and Boult are the star ones who rarely fail to deliver. The duo is so consistent that if one fails the other delivers, but in match no. 27 against Chennai Super Kings, it was one of those rare occasions when both of them failed to deliver. They both concede 98 runs together.
Boult gave away 42 runs in his 4 overs spell and managed to grab a wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad. Whereas Bumrah went for 56 runs in these 4 overs and got the wicket of Moeen Ali. CSK batsmen were in full flow against the MI bowlers from the start of the innings. Before getting Moeen Ali out, Bumrah went of 17 runs in that over. Bumrah somehow made a comeback in his 19th over as he gave only 10 runs in that.
This was the most expensive spell from Bumrah in the match, earlier his most expensive was against Delhi back in 2015 when he went for 55 runs.
