After a mandatory quarantine of players ended, the Delhi Capitals member stepped on field for their regular practice sessions. Everyone felt very energetic and shared their thoughts about how they are working on their fitness and style of playing, how they have been improving their strategies in order to mark themselves in the IPL 2021.
Delhi Capitals twitter handle posted a clip that showed interviews of players namely Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Lalit Yadav. In the clip they are heard explaining how it feels for them to step on the field after a break and getting back to practicing again with their team members. What are the improvements they have undergone in order to help them cope up with the new season and new beginning of this IPL 2021.
The players shared their thoughts about how they spent their quarantine thinking and working upon their weaker points and improving them. The quarantine just gave them a moment of pause to work on self-development in order to step out strong and strategic.
“I batted for the first time in 20 days. We came out after being in quarantine for seven days, so I was just looking to get into the groove and get into a good rhythm. And as we get closer to the tournament, it will be all about maintaining that good rhythm and momentum,” said Delhi Capitals’ batsman Ajinkya Rahane.
