Former Indian wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel has said that IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will have to think a lot about their playing eleven in the upcoming 14th season of the league.
RCB are scheduled to play their first match in IPL 2021 with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 9. RCB qualified for the playoffs last season, where it finished fourth.
Parthiv told a TV channel, “A lot of questions were raised about Bangalore since the auction and I don’t think they have the answers to those questions. The team no longer has Moeen Ali. If Moeen were there, the team would have The last XI would have been the other one. ”

“One player can change the team’s final XI combination. We have to think beyond Virat Kohli and Abraham de Villiers. But we also have to see how much they try to win,” he said.
Overall, Moeen Ali has played 19 games in the IPL, amassing 309 runs at an average of 20.6, while his strike rate reads an impressive 158.46. He also has three fifties to his name. On the bowling front, the 33-year-old has picked up 10 wickets at an economy of 7.13.
The all-rounder has been a constant feature in England’s white-ball set-up over the last few years. It remains to be seen whether RCB’s decision to part ways with the Englishman will cost the Bengaluru-based franchise in IPL 2021.
Meanwhile, RCB is scheduled to play their first match in IPL 2021 with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 9.
