IPL 2021: Great news for Punjab Kings fans, star pacer Mohammed Shami back on field

The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is all set to begin from April 9, with all the teams engaged in preparations. Indian team’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who has been away from international cricket since his injury during the tour of Australia and has joined his team, Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021. However, the head coach of the team Anil Kumble has given great information about his fitness.

Talking about Mohammed Shami’s health, Anil Kumble said, “I know that he hasn’t stepped on the field for a long time, for which he is ready now and it is expected that he will play some practice matches and be ready for the first match as well.”

Mohd Shami is back on field, working on his weaker points. He took to twitter to share the message, he tweeted,” Apne munde on field @PunjabKingsIPL @IPL.”

Significantly, Mohammed Shami suffered a wrist injury during the second match of the 4-match Test series played against Australia, after which he has been out of international cricket. Since then, Mohammed Shami was recovering at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Under the leadership of KL Rahul, the Punjab Kings team will start the 14th season of the IPL against the Rajasthan Royals from April 12 in Mumbai.
