May it be life or may it be cricket, things are there in common. The game of cricket is as unpredictable as life. A team losing the game can be a winner in the next moment. However, there is one more important component in common. That is a partnership. May it be to build a successful life or to win the game of cricket, partnerships are important.
In IPL, there have been partnerships that have changed the course of the game completely. On top of the list, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle have scored runs aplenty. Here are the top 3 partnerships in IPL which have changed the game or got players the fame.

In the list of best partnerships, RCB has to be there. Either as one of the record makers or the run considers. In the match against KXIP, Royal Challengers were decimated by Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh duo’s batting.
Both the left-handers sent the ball across M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Aussie wicketkeeper-batsman scored a century whereas Shaun Marsh remained unbeaten at 79. After scoring a competitive total, they crushed RCB into a mere 121 with Piyush Chawla plucking four wickets.
This partnership comes at number third in this IPL’s highest partnership list.
2. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (215 Runs):

In a 2015 IPL game at the Wankhede Stadium, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bat first. They got off to a bad start when they lost Chris Gayle early. But Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers pulled off a stunning partnership. The hapless Mumbai Indians attack had no clue of de Villiers’ hitting.
The South African demolished the bowling attack and reached an astonishing score of 133 in just 59 balls. Kohli finished on 82 off 50 deliveries. The score read 235/1. Despite MI’s best efforts, they could only reach 196 runs
1. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (229 Runs):

It was yet another display of sheer dominance from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, but this time it was against the Gujarat Lions. Batting first, RCB lost Gayle before the fourth over of the innings. That is when the show well and truly started. With Kohli and de Villiers at the crease, there was no helping the Gujarat Lions bowlers.
Despite playing under the hot conditions in Bangalore, the duo barely broke a sweat as they dispatched the bowling attack to all parts of the ground. The crowd, which had flooded in to watch their favorite team play, were treated to an absolute spectacle. Kohli and de Villiers scored 109 and 129 respectively as the Indian captain was dismissed in the final over of the innings.
The Lions had to chase down a mammoth total of 249 to win. With their morale shattered after the first innings display from RCB, they were bowled out for a paltry 104 as the Bangalore-based team won by 144 runs.
