IPL 2021: Jason Roy joins SRH squad after completing 7 days of mandatory quarantine
On Friday, SRH got relieving news that Jason Roy who arrived as the replacement of Mitchell Marsh is all set to join the squad after completing his 7 days of isolation.
England batsman Jason Roy has reportedly completed his mandatory quarantine period of 7 days and is all set to join the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad. He arrived at the team hotel on the 10th of April and since then he was in the isolation.
Jason Roy was acquired by SRH at his base price of Rs 2 crore. He was signed by SRH as a replacement of Mitchell Marsh who made himself available for the entire IPL citing personal reasons.
Jason Roy earlier went unsold at IPL 2021 auctions but was later signed by SRH as the replacement of Marsh. Jason Roy has previously represented Delhi Daredevils in 2018 and Gujarat Lions in 2017.
Talking about his recent form, he has he was part of England’s T20i team that played a 5 match series against India. In the series, Jason Roy scored 144 runs in five matches with an average of 28.80 and his strike rate was 132.11.
Jason Roy also shared some of his photos on his Instagram story in which he was seen getting a haircut after spending 7 days in quarantine.
