IPL 2021: Kane Williamson joins SRH squad in Dubai

Kane Williamson has joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their preparations for the Indian Premier League. The franchise shares pictures on its Instagram page.

The captain of SRH will undergo a six-day mandatory quarantine period before preparing for the IPL. Kane will be quarantined in the team’s hotel- Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights.

The tournament had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 scare among the members involved. All preparations are underway as the IPL is set to resume from 19th September. This time again, it will be continued from the UAE.

Kane Williamson was given the captaincy responsibility from David Warner mid-way in the first phase of the IPL. 

He has been doing well with the bat throughout the season. At present, Sunrisers Hyderabad is at the bottom of the points table.

Team SRH has also been doing interesting activities on their social media page. Khaleel Ahmed did an Instagram Takeover on the Sunrisers Hyderabad page. Fans are extremely excited about the second phase of the IPL.

When phase 2 begins, it will be interesting to see how Kane Williamson and co. come back stronger. Hoping that SRH can turn things around. They reed to have a good second half of the tournament to qualify for the playoffs. 

The Sunrisers Hyderabad go against Delhi Capitals on 22nd September. This match will be live from the Dubai International Stadium.
