IPL 2021: KKR’s ex captain Dinesh Karthik playing his 200th match of IPL

Dinesh Karthik is playing his 200th match in the Indian Premier team for Kolkata Knight Riders. He has made 3855 runs in his IPL career with a decent average of 26.04. He has also slammed an impressive number of106 sixes and 376 matches. His finishing skills for his team have been excellent. He has been a consistent batsman and has led his team in IPL.

Besides batting, his wicket-keeping role has been clean and is a testimony to his skill and contribution as a batsman to the team. He has scored a high score of 97* with a strike rate of 129.62 in 200 matches. He has led Kolkata Knight Riders in 43 matches. He has won 21 matches and lost 21 while ending one in a tie.

With 200 matches under his name, he has now matched Dhoni and Rohit Sharma’s record who have played 208 and 204 matches respectively. He was bought by KKR for the current season for 7.50 Crore.
