South African fast bowler has reportedly completed his mandatory quarantine period of 7 days and is all set to join the Chennai Super Kings squad. He arrived at the team hotel on the 11th of April and since then he was in the isolation.

It’s relieving news for CSK that Lungi Ngidi who arrived a bit late due to home series against Pakistan is all set to join the squad after completing his mandatory quarantine. He also told this to his fans through the Instagram story. His teammate Jagadeesan shared his picture where he is seen doing fun in the CSK squad.

This came at the time when CSK is already missing Josh Hazelwood who pulled off from IPL due owing to bio bubble fatigue. Although CSK’s bowling has done a great job on Friday in the match between CSK and PBKS.

In Friday’s match, CSK thrashed Punjab Kings by 6 wickets as they restricted them on just 106 runs. This was all possible because of CSK’s pacer Deepak Chahar who took 4 wickets and bowled brilliantly.

The coming of Lungi Ngidi in CSK’s squad is gonna make the team’s bowling department stronger.
