Five-time IPL winning team Mumbai Indians through a video bid an emotional farewell to postponed IPL. In the video players and coaches are seen talking about how to stay safe and positive during these tough times.

IPL was suspended on Tuesday, May 4th, amid multiple COVID-19 outbreaks in four other teams, namely KKR’s – Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier, SRH’s Wriddhiman Saha, Delhi Capital’s spinner Amit Mishra. CSK’s bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji and batting coach Michael Hussey being the other two.

There were talks of IPL being moved to the UAE, but there is no official statement or announcement.

Players in the video talk about how people in India can be safe in these testing times and also the decision to suspend IPL was within the interests of everyone around it. Getting vaccinated and expressing gratitude were some of the other important things touched upon.
