RCB had a great start to their IPL 2021 campaign. In their first match, they beat the defending champions Mumbai Indians by 2 Wickets in Chennai’s MA CHIDAMBARAM stadium.
The opening pair was at concern with a makeshift pair of Washington Sundar and Virat Kohli did no justice to this. The pair was assembled following Devdutt Padikkal’s absence due to testing COVID-19 positive.
But looks like, the opening scare for RCB will be solved as Devdutt Padikkal might be available for selection in RCB’s next match on 14th against SRH.
As reported by many sites, he returned to training nets and even skipper Kohli said they were just being precarious with Padikkal’s selection.

Devdutt Padikkal is one of the highlight finding for RCB and the form and consistency he has shown in the Vijay Hazare trophy, which made him the second highest run scorer in the domestic tournament, he is the need of the hour as always for the Bengaluru based side.
